Our honesty promise

Plenty of astrology online runs on fear and fine print. We think it's more useful, and more fun, without either. These are the rules every page and reading on ClearSkyCharts follows.

1. We say what astrology is. A symbolic language for reflection with a long history. It isn't scientifically proven to predict events or define personality, and we say so on every reading.
2. No fear. We never write about curses, doom, death, illness or bad-luck years. If a reading would scare someone, it doesn't belong here.
3. Tendencies, not fate. We write “you tend to”, never “you will”. Your choices matter more than any placement.
4. Balanced readings. Every placement gets its strengths and its stretches. No sign is bad, and none is better than another.
5. No guessing. If we can't know something, like your Rising sign without a birth time, we tell you instead of inventing it.
6. No traps. Free means free. When we sell reports, the price is shown before you enter anything, it's a one-time payment, and there's no trial that turns into a subscription.
7. Your data stays yours. Charts are calculated in your browser. We don't send or store your birth details.
8. Not a substitute for help. Astrology isn't medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. For those, please talk to a qualified person.
